If order to transfer the photos to your PC using PhoTags Express, you will need to press the Get Photos button from the top of the Main Menu and to select Dual Mode Camera from the Active Devices window. After that, check the Custom option, click Next, add if you want Active Captions (date, keywords, categories) to your pictures, click again Next, select a destination directory and press Finish.

If the device is not recognized by your PC, press Windows + Pause/Break key combination and open Device Manager. Expand the Universal Serial Bus controllers list, right-click on the driver and select Uninstall. Reboot your computer, connect the camera using the USB cable and press Scan for hardware changes icon from Device Manager.

Alternatively, you can transfer the photos to your computer manually. Open the camera drive from My Computer/Computer and use the Copy/Paste feature to transfer the pictures.

Answer by Dan Angel

The application is fully compatible with Windows Vista platforms and allows you to add music to your pictures only if you create a Photo Album. Launch the application, open the Workshop menu and select Photo Album. Click the Create New Album button, type a name for the album, click OK, select the photos you want to add using the Browse button, click Next, configure the Page Layout options, click Next again, set the Active Captions and press Enter. From the Choose parameters for viewing your Album on the screen window, select Music Play List, click Add, navigate to your music files, select them and press Open:

Note: You need to know that PhoTags Express supports only .mp3 and .wav files.

You can try to run the installer using Administrator rights. Right-click on the package and select Run as Administrator option. If this doesn't solve the problem, it means that the installation package is corrupted. Since the application is no longer available and you cannot download a new copy, I suggest you use a similar program from Software Informer database.
